Horse Show: Love Show Out

Hola Mi Amor y Mi HMA Familia!!!

Como estas? My Lord, my God! I’m over here just in awe of God right now. I know it’s been a minute since my horse show, but by no means does the delay reflect the impact that this day had. I’ll do my best to keep this one short and sweet lol.

Equine-Assisted Therapy (EAT) only holds one horse show a year and it is an absolutely beautiful display of love, growth, community and healing for their clients. This was my 3rd horse show at EAT and 2nd year riding Ace in the show.

Since I was the only one in my class participating in the horse show my instructor Nicole designed a program specifically for the two of us to ride in tandem. This tandem display of my growth as a rider was unbeknownst to her a prophetic illustration of my testimony. God used therapy by way of horsemanship and my journey of faith at The Advancing Church in tandem to exponentially take my healing- my pathway to wholeness to levels that are still blowing my mind! I cannot even fully express it in words, but it ALWAYS come out by way of grateful tears in my worship!!! I cannot tell it all! Hallelujah!

Nicole designed our program. I picked out our music selections (Jenny Weaver’s Run With The Horses and Madison Ryann Ward’s Rolling Stones) and decided our wardrobe for the day. I even customized my top, jeans and boots to match our horses. For my favorite boy Ace and the horse Nicole would be riding I even created custom saddle blankets and headwear! This was my first time doing this and I couldn’t be more honored for how they came out! God got the glory!

This year hit so very differently for me. As we were working out the technical “opportunities” with our music and I rode on the back of Ace around our indoor arena I was overwhelmed with so much love that I could barely hold myself together. All of a sudden (suddenly lol) I looked around the room and saw all of my church family and my EAT family that came out to support me! Last year no one came to my horse show and this year God blessed me abundantly with love and support! The program was absolutely beautiful, but the love show out was far more touching for those I love to share in something that I love so deeply. I am so eternally grateful!

Shout out to Sue Neumann who sat at my table at our Connecting & Promoting Women Meeting when I spoke the Thursday before my horse show. She told her friends about our event and said they had to be there! Such a divine connection. #grateful
