You’re at the gig, running, building, climbing
I see you with your kids- the look in your eyes, it’s magnifying the joy
Your babies fuel your soul!
An undeniable lifting that can’t be ignored

This thing called life, Lord, I know it’s rough and you’re steadily hanging tough
But yo, around me you don’t have to put up the phasode
It’s okay to relax your shoulders and even wrap your arms around your knees
What I mean is with me you don’t have to fake being okay.

I know the weights that you carry, I’m aware of the tears in the night

As you fight your good fight of faith, be sure to submit to the One who has loved you before you were born
The One who knows every hair on your head
The One who guides and guards all of your ways- learn to be led…
By Him who all your provision comes
He who loves you with an everlasting love
Let him lead you in consistent steps with Him
Allow Him to mold you into the husband, father and friend that He’s called you to be as a man
If anyone can do it- God can!!!

Bro stop dating God and make Him your all
It’s time!
You’ll never be more ready than right now
There’s actually nothing you need to do before He’ll embrace you, He wants you anyhow

So as you walk with God, ask Him how to be a better Father, ask Him what your babies need from their Daddy

We are all uniquely and wonderfully made
This goes for our children too
There is no one size fits all love type of parenting
Where one child desired love language is hugs and affection, another’s cup may overflow sitting next to you at a game in the nose bleed section
Be intentional with your love bro
No matter how you’d like to receive love, be sure to learn theirs…it’s important
Love them like they want to be loved and teach them how you want to receive
Let it flow organically as it grows
Have conversations with one another and learn things you’d otherwise never know
Be the engager don’t sit around and wait, remembering these are new steps and they’re not expecting so let them be some give with the take
