Hola Mi Amor,
¿Cómo estás? Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! How was your holiday week? I pray that you shared some intentional time with the ones you love. Like I’ve been sharing on Facebook and my Pastor preached on Christmas- your presence is a present in itself- a gift!
Alrighty good people. First I would like to THANK YOU for being a part of this journey with Hola Mi Amor. I am blessed to have readers like you tapping in with me from all around the world! So thank you for your interest, interactions and shares!
As last year came to a close I spent a lot of time reflecting. I’m not sure about you, but November felt like it flew by and then December outdid November in speed! I’m not sure if it’s the climate change, Jesus is coming or if I’m just getting older LOL. Either way it goes, here we are praise God!
So mis amigos, congratulations in making it through another year! How are you moving in this first days of 2025 and did you already prepare for the new year? 2 Timothy 4:7 reads-
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
2 Timothy 4:7 NIV

Whether it’s been in sports growing up, working in sales and other business ventures or surrounding my faith, I’ve always been encouraged to finish strong. Haven’t you? The shot clock is at 10 seconds remaining in the 4th quarter with a man-to-man defense and you’ve got the ball. Are you nervous, doing what you can, listening for your coach, wanting to score the winning point, driving to the basket or intentionally seeing the whole floor and your teammates to make the best play? Whichever decision you made, you were able to advance to the 2025 tournament.

Reflecting on the previous season is important to see how we can grow, pivot and achieve the purpose God has for us. Knowing your vision is essential to reach your intended goals. Vision boards have always been a really great tool and source of creativity for me. (EXCEPT for a few years during the pandemic when my creativity was blocked- BUT God!) From October 2023 on I began creating a vision board for each quarter which I absolutely fell in love with!
This last year has been absolutely priceless for both my daughter and me in our individual journeys of faith. With less than 2 weeks left in December we were working on our vision boards and I was looking for my next bible plan. That was the first year I’ve completed the one year bible plan which I am so very grateful for. The impact it made for me alongside our church’s 21 Day Fast was huge because the repetition was exactly what I needed to help with my recall, understanding and insight. So what could we find that we could do together in ‘25?
While scrolling somewhere (probably on Facebook) I came across a plan that interested me, but it didn’t feel right for us for a few reasons. When discussing it with Dyawna it dropped in my spirit to create our own which she immediately agreed upon. Since I was already fasting I began to really pray about the elements. Each of us took a part in designing the pages and creating the guide. What really blessed me was while Dyawna, my Mami and I were on a call together we asked her her opinions and ideas for the name of our challenge. And that is how we collectively came up with The Extra Mile with God! 3 generations of faith united and growing in God!!! 🙌🏽🥳🎉💃🏽🙏🏽🤩

So praise God on New Year’s Eve we officially launched The Extra Mile with God 40 Day Challenge!!! As of today we have 20 participants from age 18 to 74 years young with half of them in Memphis, Tennessee, USA where my daughter goes to college and serves at her church! The heartfelt texts we’ve been receiving before people have even started the challenge have really blessed us.
This is our birthday month- I am January 14th and Dyawna is on the 31st. So what better gift to share with others is there than the Word of God and walking alongside one another in our journey of faith?! It completely blesses my WHOLE heart to be able to share this creativity, time, experience and my faith with my baby girl! #ProudMami
So friend, there’s no time like the present to create your vision board if you haven’t done so yet and to join us for The Extra Mile with God 40 Day Challenge! We’re believing God for all of our friends and family to be saved and on fire for God, so that includes you too!

Have a blessed day- On Purpose!
Love & Blessings,
Jana M. Gamble
