Hola Mi Amor!
This woman you’re looking at with that perfectly imperfect body
Those long flowing thickalicious golden locks-
She, she’d been living her life traveling around sleuthing for love
Not recognizing she should be proofing for love
Instead of resistant she was insistent on filling that love void
Was it because Daddy left and was far away?
Was it the disconnection, the confusion of race?
Or maybe it’s the time and attention they gave?
Now don’t take it the wrong way
This one is a lifer
She’s a loyal lover to a fault
Staying through the storms and the rain
Never ready to bring it to a halt
Fighting through the hurt and the pain
Forgiving time and time again
Pero, te amo mucho mi amor
And a kiss upon her cheek
Sealed with a kiss- his sins absolved
It took a life or death decision again to leave this love alone
An ultimatium given, his answer fueled with deceit
It’s time to close this chapter for a love that can’t be beat
Tired of going in circles, stuck inside of a maze
She can’t ignore the time they took or the choices that she made
But there’s one that loves agape
He heals, He revives, He restores
No more broken promises
The one she can adore
It is a rooted love
Healing her wounded love
Reviving what should be loved- her
Restoring where broken roots were
Now that she has been rooted in the love that can’t compare
She learned to love the right one- who always has been there
An inward transformation
A solace in her core
A light that shines from in her – vibrant, bright and free
So now she’s ready for love, that’s one thing I know for sure
The love that will last a lifetime will soon be knocking at her door.
16 I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. 17 Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. 18 And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. 19 May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.
